Thought I'd post a little update as I worked more on the Fighter bust from Marc's workshop in July. I entered it into SMC this weekend and was lucky enough to pick up a commended in Masters Historical with it, so really happy with that I'm going to keep working on it some more to see if I can take it further, but figured I'd share the progress on it. And if anyone missed the workshop with Marc while Fen was going on I can recommend it if he does another
As this was my first time painting with real paint instead of contrast, I wasn't expecting to be any use, and figured a lot of the teaching would go over my head, but I'd have fun anyway. I was so wrong! your teaching style is so welcoming and inclusive, I got so much out of the day! I've learned loads, and I'm looking forward to putting it into practice on my burrows and badgers minis soon!

Thank you for a great weekend guys, especially @rzaba for the amazing teaching and @RisingApe for organising it. Don't think I've learned as much in so short a space of time in years, if ever. Only regret is not booking tomorrow off work so I can just spend the day putting some of it into practice. Will definitely try to make another soon!
